Italian Serie B club US Triestina arrive this afternoon for a five day training camp.

The club will also be taking part in the Capodanno Cup triangular together with BoV Premier League clubs Valletta FC and Qormi.

The US Triestina players arriving in Malta are:

Goalkeepers – Roberto Colombo, Jeferson Trazzi, Sergio Viotti,

Defenders – Riccardo Brosco, Marcello Cottafava, Rocco d’Aiello, Dario D’Ambrosio, Alessandro Longhi, Marco Malago’, Rocco Sabato.

Midfielders – Filippo Antonelli, Davide Bariti, Attilia Filkor, Alberto Gerbo, Riccardo Gissi, Franceso Lunardini, Emiliano Testini, Nikola Princivalli.

Forwards – Luigi Andrea Della Rocca, Denis Godeas, Massimiliano Lunetti, Ettore Marchi, Alessandro Gherardi, Mustafa’ Nukic.

Meanwhile Malta international defender Andrei Agius who currently plays for AC Melfi in Italy will be having a trial with the Serie B club.

Observers from the club under the guidance of director general Marco Cernaz, have been watching the player closely for the past months while playing for both AC Melfi and the national team.

Agius joined Serbian first-division club FC Zemun at the age of 16 on a six-month contract to play for Zemun’s youth team, scoring two goals in the process. From then he played for several clubs in Sicily and southern Italy namely, Sporting Mascalucia, AC Martina Franca, Messina, Igea Virtus, SS Cassino and finally AC Melfi since January.
