Inter president Massimo Moratti is reported to be preparing for a sensational by Brazilian star Kaka to Italy – but with the champions and not his former club Milan, acquiring his services.
With Leonardo now appointed as new Inter coach, Moratti intends to use the Brazilian’s friendship with Kaka to bring the Real Madrid midfielder back to the San Siro.
According to Mediaset, a deal could involve an option for Douglas Maicon to move in the opposite direction in June.
Leonardo has discussed bringing Kaka to Inter with Moratti and would love to kickoff the second-half of the season with his former Milan teammate.
The major stumbling block could be Real coach Jose Mourinho. Though the Portuguese coach could do without the Brazilian on the pitch, he might be reluctant to strengthen a direct European rival at this stage in the season.
