The Capo d’Anno Cup tournament is being held this evening at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium.
Visiting Italian Serie B side Triestina as well as local Premier league clubs Valletta FC and Qormi FC will be taking part.
It will be a three-match tournament, with a duration of 45 minutes each game. The first match between Valletta FC and Qormi FC kicks off at 6.30pm. The losers will then face Triestina with the final match then seeing the Italian side playing against the winners of the first match.
Maltese international defender Andrei Agius, on the books of Italian Serie C side AC Melfi, is undergoing the training camp with Triestina and is expected to be included in the side today.
Admission tickets cost €6 but children Under 14 years of age will enter the Stadium free of charge. Persons in possession of the Kartanzjan pay just €4.
