While most will be enjoying themselves on New Year’s Eve, we should spare a thought for all those who will be working to keep us safe.

These people include doctors, nurses, police officers, soldiers, members of the CPD, airport staff, waiters, barmen and a great deal more. While New Year is, in reality a night like all others, we should still just spare a thought for those people who will not have the chance to relax and unwind. A very happy 2011 to all.
