Another foreign club is visiting Malta for a training camp in the next few days.
First division club Germinal Beerschot are expected to train in Malta between Monday 10 and Saturday 15 January.
The visit was arranged by commercial manager Paul Heylen who was reported as saying that he had arranged this visit through his contacts with former Genk player Carmel Busuttil, who is now assistant national coach of the Maltese national team.
The team will be training at the Ta’ Qali training grounds.
So far it is known that they will be playing a friendly match on Wednesday 12 January, most probably against Sliema Wanderers. Negotiations are still going on with other clubs, possibly from the First Division to play one or two other matches.
