Next Sunday KSFA will kickstart the shore angling season with the mullet league.

In this league only the elusive mullet would be the target fish of the day. The league will consist of four matches fished in various venues around the beautiful shores and marinas in Malta. This league is being sponsored by Suiga Co Ltd and Mister Fish.

Mullet match No 1 will be held next Sunday at Sa Maison marina.

League and matches will be won with the biggest weight amount and all fish will be kept alive and released back to their natural habitat after the match.

Meeting place – Sa Maison marina gardens (near the old maritime building)

Participation fee is €20 for four matches. Non members pay €10 per match entitled to match voucher only.

Each match will have a winner who will be presented with a medal in gold, silver and bronze medal for the first, second and third respectively.

All trophies, medals and vouchers to be given during the end of league dinner which will be held later this year. The winner of the overall league will get a nice voucher also in fishing equipment by the main sponsors at the end of the league together with the mullet overall winner cup 2011.
