The Government Gzette of Tuesday announced that the Malta Environment and Planning Authority has declared the following property, namely:- Dwejra and Il-Qawra area, limits of San Lawrenz and Kerċem, Gozo as included in the list of Scheduled Property in terms of Article 81 of the Environment and Development Planning Act, 2010.
Natural Heritage
1. Part of the coastal cliffs and the doline at Il-Port as a Level One Area of Ecological Importance and Site of Scientific Importance (ecology and geomorphology);
2. The remainder of the coastal cliffs as a Level Two Area of Ecological Importance and Site of Scientific Importance (ecology and geomorphology);
3. The Inland Sea and Azure Window as a Level One Site of Scientific Importance (geomorphology);
4. Għajn Abdul (excluding the quarry) as a Level Two Area of Ecological Importance and Site of Scientific Importance (ecology and geomorphology);
5. The doline at Il-Qawra and Il-Ġebla tal-Melħ as a Level Two Site of Scientific Importance (geomorphology);
6. The doline at L-Iskoll il-Kbir as a Level Two Area of Ecological Importance and Site of Scientific Importance (ecology and geomorphology);
7. Wied Sufar, Wied il-Kbir/Wied Pisklu and il-Wied tal-Port/Wied ta’ Kerrex as a Level Two Area of Ecological Importance, and the remainder of the valley
systems (excluding the quarries) as a Level Three Area of Ecological Importance;
8. A Buffer Zone for Għajn Abdul, known as Tar-Robba and Ta’ Taħt il-Mixta, as a Level Three Site of Scientific Importance; and
