The name says it all. The brand encompasses the policies. The concept is nothing less than quality entertainment in the heart of Paceville for whoever is living the high life at heart.
The management at Bar Celona refers to the letter published in this newspaper on 17 January and penned by ‘A disappointed bunch of friends’. The letter contains an inaccurate account of the events described therein and is misleading in our respect, to say the least.
At Bar Celona Lounge we operate a strict door policy with respect to age and dress code for the benefit and comfort of our esteemed patrons. Anyone, irrespective of social standing, race, sex, nationality, sexual orientation etc., is welcome to our premises to have a good time so long as our policies regarding age and dress code are respected. The dress code complements the concept behind Bar Celona Lounge and patrons who are not smartly dressed would simply be refused entrance to the premises irrespective of the occasion. Tunnel earrings are not permitted, also as a matter of safety. Patrons wearing any form of piercing on the face, lips or nose are not allowed entrance either.
These policies are enforced at the door by our professional security and the duty manager. Patrons who book their tables in advance are not granted any special exemptions and have to abide by our strict door policy nonetheless.
On the particular occasion referred to by our ‘bunch of disappointed friends’, the security refused entry to one of them because he was not suitably dressed and was wearing tunnel earrings. The security themselves respect the orders given to them by the directors and managers of the venue.
We at Bar Celona Lounge work hard to build and maintain our reputation for quality entertainment. We respect our esteemed patrons and continue to do our best to provide a venue with a difference for all those who are looking to have a great time out with friends. We do take note of any complaints that one may have, since this will enable us to continue improving our product. On the other hand, policies set by the management must be respected by all and everyone, at all times.
