Bank of Valletta has installed the first drive-through ATM in Malta. The ATM, within the premises of JM Petrol Station on the new Mgarr bypass, is designed to enable ATM use from the convenience and comfort of one’s own car.

The ATM has already been commissioned and was met with enthusiasm by those who used it. The new ATM offers the same range of banking services normally available at conventional ATMs – meaning customers can perform tasks including cash withdrawals, balance enquiries, deposits, bill payments and mobile phone top-ups without leaving their vehicle.

“The new Drive-through ATM offers customers the convenience of using an ATM while seated in their cars without having to park, step out, and head to an ATM,” said Michael Galea, Chief Officer Operations at Bank of Valletta. “This innovation is in line with Bank of Valletta’s efforts to continuously enhance its banking services to best serve its valued customers”.
