The four leading local clubs - Athleta, Depiro, Loyola and Siggiewi – have called for an Extraordinary General Meeting requesting a number of changes to the MBA statute and calling for a number of Boards to be setup to investigate certain issues.

In the absence of the Secretary General, the original was handed in to the MBA President, Magistrate Antonio Mizzi, on Tuesday evening.

Men’s basketball is temporarily suspended.

These four clubs are also planning to hold a meeting with all clubs on Saturday at 4pm at the Ta’ Qali pavilion.
