This Sunday Green Cycling Club will hold its annual event the Greens Team Time Trial on the Bahar ic-Caghaq Coast Road.

This is one of the most exciting cycle races in the local calendar as local clubs challenge each other with their best 4-men formation over a distance of 40km.

Team Greens have won all the three editions of the race so far, however they face a stiff challenge from Melita CC who upped their time trialling horsepower this year.

Qormi and Mosta are also out for the reckoning.  

Greens will rely on the services on national time trial champion Etienne Bonello who led his team to three consecutive victories.

He will be joined by national Duathlon champion Fabio Spiteri with further reinforcement from new signings Jason Vella and ex road race champion Christopher Gatt.

The Coast Road will be closed to traffic (except for public transport), from the entrance to Maghtab to Salina junction from 7.30am till 10am.
