Hotsticks are on a role after beating Qormi last weekend they continued in the same vein and won their second game in a row.

Exerting pressure immediately, they went ahead in the 6th minute when Domingo Guiterrez scored after the ball broke loose in the D

during their third short corner action.  They went further ahead in the 15th minute when after forcing another short corner Shawn Grima scored. 

This stung White Hart into action and between the 26th and 30th minutes they forced three short corners which bore no fruit. 

Instead just before half time in the 34th minute Steve Portelli shot Hotsticks further ahead with a neat reverse stick shot.  

White Hart reacted strongly in the second half and pulled one back in the 46th minute when Luke Borg Costanzi shot home from the top of the D.   

This prompted a comeback but two penalty strokes awarded in the 55th and 63rd minutes and converted by Guiterrez and Silvano Vassallo respectively put the game well beyond White Hart.
