Neptunes and Marsascala have been banned from taking part in the Under 14 waterpolo youth festival that will be held on 13 March.

The ASA’s Commissioner of Discipline was acting on a report submitted to the ASA by a member of the youth waterpolo committee in respect of incidents that took place after the U/14 Youth Festival match Marsascala vs Neptunes played on 13 February. 

According to the uncontested report, which was circulated to all clubs and accepted by the Disciplinary Commissioner as per Article 3 IV (b) of the Terms of Reference of the Disciplinary Commissioner, unidentified players from both teams were involved in fighting and other improper behaviour.

In another ruling, N. Bugelli (Sliema) was suspended for all the matches in connection with the Under 14 Youth Festival on 13 March in terms of Section B, Article 2 (iv) of the ASA Disciplinary Code (Brutality).  The player was reported by the referee after the Under 14 Youth Festival match Marsascacala-Sliema played on 13 February.
