Paul Vella was the overall winner of The Pelican Skeet Trophy during a competition organised by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at Bidnija.

Paul Vella won with 68 (46+22), followed by Clive Farrugia with 67 (44+23), Joe Muscat with 65 (42+23), Silvio Attard with 61 (38+23), Elenio Mifsud with 59 (38+21) and Darren Vella in sixth with 58 (38+20).

Meanwhile a contingent from The MSSF is in Chili to take part in the ISSF World Cup 2011 Conception, Chili.

The Trap event will be held on 75 clays today and 50 clays tomorrow where Jason J.Aquilina, Stephen Vella, George Cassar and Nicky Carabott will be taking part. MSSF Secretary, Dr.Carmel Cascun is accompanying the Maltese shooters.
