Please refer to a letter to the editor of Sunday 27 February, relating to Dr Petra Bianchi’s appointment as Mepa director.

The writer of this letter, James A. Tyrell, concluded with the following question, “Does the Commissioner of Voluntary Associations not even glance at the accounts submitted to him?”

By way of an answer, the Commissioner wishes to inform that the accounts of the voluntary organisation in question, Din l-Art Ħelwa, are audited and were presented to him as such.
