The MFA Disciplinary Board yesterday suspended eight Premier League players for one match.
Worst hit were relegation pool side Hibernians, who have two players suspended for one match. These are defenders Aaron Xuereb and Ryan Camilleri.
Other players suspended from the relagtaion pool were Slieam Wanderers’ Rodrick Bajada, and Vittoriosa Stars’ Luis Dos Santos Edison.
Run-away leagues Valletta will have to do without striker Denni Dos Santos, who will thus miss the clash against his former club Tarxien Rainbows.
On their part Tarxien Rainbows, who obtained their first second phase victory demolishing Hamrun Spartans, will have Lee Galea suspended.
The other two players suspended yesterday were Birkirkara’s Emmanuel Bartolo, and Floriana’s Owen Bugeja.
