Are we being conditioned by too much computer logic behaviour patterns?

I ask this as the recent spat with the Italian journalist, apart from swelling our breasts with patriotic pride, is also swelling our illegal immigrants holding centres again, as soon as it was confirmed by Malta’s state authorities that our Armed Forces do not shoot on illegal boat comers. Some similar seemingly ‘logical’ behaviour patterns might be at fault at the increase in marriage fallout when the couples, rather than looking at the long-term and far-reaching consequences, play the logic game, rather than going further than the tit-for-tat manner of living.
