Cycling:Team Greens Presents new kit and sponsors for Tour of Malta

During a club presentation, Team Greens unveiled the new team kit which will be used for the upcoming Tour of Malta.

The kit which was designed and manufactured in Italy will also show the new clubs’ sponsors which include title sponsor Greens Supermarket, BBB bike parts, Garmin, Powerade, Barilla, Golden Harvest and  Altasfera.

The competing riders will be equipped with full racing and training gear for both cold and warm weather conditions including helmets and sports glasses from Dutch company BBB bike parts.

In a comment, club president Charles Sammut said that with these new sponsorship deals, the club will push further the boundaries of local cycling in both sporting and administrative levels. “We have entered in a new era and hope to improve on what we have already achieved,” he said.

Team Greens remains dedicated to local cycling and to the development of its riders assisting them in both local and international competitions.

He added: “The backing of these new sponsors is a vote of confidence in our structure which augurs well for the future of the club.” 

Team Greens has so far been on top of local elite races and is entering the Tour of Malta with the following cyclists: Etienne Bonello, Jason Vella, Gerard Said, Christopher Gatt, Fabio Spiteri, Jeffrey Borg, Peter Gatt, Joseph Bonello, James Mifsud, Alfred Zammit, Bernard Azzopardi, Marie Claire Aquilina.
