The International Superyacht Society has confirmed the participation of Bransom Bean in the forthcoming superyacht industry seminar being held on 29 April.

Bransom Bean, founder and CEO of the business/management consultancy Fine Focus Ltd, is also a columnist, a PADI Scuba Diver, a public speaker, a private pilot, but above all a Sailor.

In fact Bean’s maritime experience ranges from recreational power boating and offshore sailing to serving as an Officer in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service. In 1996/97 he raced in the BT Global Challenge, a 33,000 mile race around the world, which sailed south of both Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope, as crew in CUA. He has three trans-Atlantic racing expeditions to his credit and a trans-Atlantic as Mate in a 57 foot Nordhavn Trawler.

Besides being a Board Member of the International Superyacht Society Mr Bean was the first Executive Director and Charter Member of the US Superyacht Association and also enjoys membership in the Professional Yachtsmen’s Association, the Isle of Man's Manx Yacht Forum, the Propeller Club, the US Navy League, the International Association of Cape Horners, the Merchant Navy Association and the Royal Ocean Racing Club

In his presentation Bransom Bean, a learned ambassador of the large yacht industry, will expand on the ‘Fundamentals in Building a Successful Package for the Superyacht Industry’. This is regarded as a major topic on the Seminar’s agenda which although focusing on the Malta yachting scenario will be underlining the demanding requisites of superyachts.

Meanwhile it has been confirmed that Dr. Austin Gatt, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications, will also be addressing the seminar.
