John Soler has been presented with the 2010 Waterpolo Player of the Year award by ASA president Joe Caruana Curran.

The award completes a hat-trick for John who also won the trophy in 2002 and 2003.

This is the 13th occasion that a Sliema ASC player has won the award since it was first awarded in 1970. The 13 awards were shared by eight players including Michael Soler, John’s father who was the first Sliema player to win the award in 1973.
