Sliema ASC have won the first edition of the Under-15s Winter League when they defeated Exiles 12- 2 in the final match of the season.

Both Exiles  and  Sliema had been undefeated and, despite this loss, Exiles were able to claim the runners-up position.

This is the first time that such a competition was organised and six teams took part - Exiles, Marsascala, Neptunes, San Giljan, Sliema and Sirens.

All the six clubs should be congratulated for taking part with special thanks to the coaches : Joe Sciortino (Exiles), Pierre Borg (Marsascala), Guzi Attard (Neptunes), Santino Micallef (San Giljan), Dejan Simeonvic (Sirens) and Sergio Afric and Keith Grima Scott (Sliema).

Special thanks are also due to the respective representatives of the clubs who organised this event in collaboration with the ASA.

The league started on 5 February and ended on 31 March,

The Sliema captain, Aleandro Mifsud, was presented with the trophy by ASA president Joe Caruana Curran.
