The Point's first anniversary celebrations ended with a bang last Sunday when the shopping mall again proved to be the destination of choice, attracting well over 40,000 people in a span of four days.

Families flocked to the mall over the long weekend for a fun day out and with good reason. Visitors were treated to a deluge of entertainment by top local artists.

The Point's 2.5 square metre cake proved to be a crowd puller as hundreds gathered around it while Kristina Casolani sang "Happy Birthday” to The Point.
