This year the Wilson Spring team tournament at the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club will be held between 25 April and 6 June.

The tournament, sponsored by Wilson through their representative in Malta, Gordon Asciak, local representative of the renowned tennis brand, will be played on Mondays (men) and Wednesdays (women). Play starts at 6.30pm on both days.

The rubbers will alternate in such a way that players will not always be on court at the same time each week.

The competition will be played on a two sets (tie break 5 all) basis with teams facing each other in a round robin format.

After the end of the first round, the first four teams will be involved in a knock-out round to determine the finalists. The final will be played on the club’s Atlas Insurance Centre Court on a Sunday.

Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis. All those interested and are over the age of 16 may apply personally at the club’s office or may apply by filling the entry form on the club’s website www.vltc.com.mt
