The newly formed Kavallieri RS2 girls won the national league organised by the MHA in their respective category, by beating competition from four other teams.
Kavallieri RS2 won all the games except one and finished the league with three points above their nearest rivals.
The team, under the guidance of Twanny Xuereb, with the help of Luke Zammit, made their intentions clear early in the season and continued improving their game as the season went by.
This led to seven consecutive wins which ensured that the championship was won with a game in hand.
The committee thanked RS2 Group for the annual sponsorship and hopes that the young girls will form a much improved team in Promotion and Senior categories in the future.
This, together with the work being done and results obtained by the Boys Under 17 and Promotion Boys, should ensure a bright future for the club in all categories.
