The last semifinal berth in the Bank of Valletta Winter League will be decided today.

It will be either San Giljan or Exiles. The former have already finished their commitments and are enjoying a two-point lead over Exiles.

Yet, with the three-point system being used this season, Exiles are still in the running, but they have to beat Sliema today – a draw will not be enough.

Neptunes, Sirens and Sliema are all assured of their place in the semifinal line-up. Today’s two matches – there is also the Sirens-Marsascala clash – will determine the final placings after the first round.
