Portman International has maintained its commitment to staff development by annually holding a series of technical training programmes for members of staff across departments. Thanks to a team of professionals and experts continuously striving towards excellence at an international level, Portman International is able to provide ongoing coaching and life-long learning which has enabled the company to nurture growth and efficiency in all the services offered.

As an ACCA approved employer, Portman International offers ACCA students the necessary support to complete their studies in the form of on the job training through practical experience and workplace mentoring. Additionally, qualified accountants are provided with on-going training as part of their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirement.

However duty to staff development extends beyond that required by ACCA accreditation and CPD. Technical training on subjects related to Portman International’s core functions is provided to all the members of staff and delivered by the company’s top professionals. Topics range from updates on anti money laundering regulation, to company formation and legislation in the various jurisdictions Portman International is licensed to operate in. Specialised individual training is also given with a view to strengthening expertise on other specific services offered to clients.

“Portman International aims at exceeding clients’ expectations through quality. This can only be achieved through training, both during the induction period and on an ongoing basis, in order to maintain our standards and swiftly adapting to the continuous market and legislative changes,” said Bernardette Gatt, Manager of the Malta Client Accounting Department.

Portman International is proud to offer a comprehensive range of professional, fiduciary and trading services which aim to provide clients with solutions to support their international business activity.
