We heartily agree with all that you wrote in your editorial column (TMID, 19 April), in questioning the role of the church in the anti divorce sermons delivered across Malta on the feast Our Lady of Sorrows. The clergy and the Bishops, who couldn’t have been unaware of what was being planned, have convinced us to stay away from the Church and pray to God in our own home.

If this is what our Bishops want then this is what they will be having in the near future.
