Rather than thwarting Church matters regarding faith and morals, the most honourable Finance Minister (‘The divorce debate cannot be divorced from faith’, TMID, 27 April) should have the guts to tell the people if Our Lady was looking the other way when he acceded to a phenomenal rise in ministers’ salaries, seeing the continuous inflation of commodity prices bringing hardship on many families, when he gives his blessing to every exorbitant rise in fuel prices to cover up Enemalta inefficiencies… The list is endless. Could you tell us, dear honourable minister, what the angels up above are feeling?
