Three Premier League players were yesterday banned one match by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

They are Andrew DeCesare and Joseph Zerafa of Birkirkara FC and Sergio Pacheco of Tarxien Rainbows.

The former two will be missing the vital clash for second place against Floriana tomorrow, while Pacheco will be missing the match against champions Valletta on Saturday.

Among the other players suspended was first division side Lija Athletics D. Scerri.
