The Youth Football Association, in collaboration with the Malta FA are launching the first ever ‘Inħobb il-futbol’ U-13 league for next season today at the Centenary Hall, Ta’ Qali at 7.15pm.
This league is going to complement the on-going U-13 Gatorade football festival, enabling more of these young players to play and ensuring that those participating in this league to gain valuable competitive experience.
Officials and U-13 coaches from all the affiliated nurseries have been invited for this event in order to be introduced to this new competition.
The opening speech by the Youth FA President Fr Hilary Tagliaferro will be followed by a presentation by the association’s Secretary General, Joe Micallef, giving details about the rules and regulations for this competition.
Robert Gatt, the MFA’s Technical Director, will then highlight the technical analysis of such a competition.
The Malta Football Association’s president, Norman Darmanin Demajo and CEO, Bjorn Vassallo, will close the programme by focusing on redefining future success by investing in the grassroots.
