Mobile Phone stolen

Malta Independent Friday, 6 May 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 15 years ago

I write this to the person who stole my mobile phone out of my bag while shopping at Mosta market. When I realised it was missing, the friend I was with called the number, but there was no answer; when she sent a text message the phone was turned off.

So I can only assume the person has now disposed of my Sim card which will cause me no end of trouble. It had important phone numbers on it apart from which my sons in UK and Saudi Arabia can no longer reach me, which will worry them as I have been in ill-health for the last 12 months. They will wonder why my phone is switched off. I cannot get in touch with them as I have now lost all my numbers.

I also now have the expense of getting a new mobile and Sim card. As the saying goes I am not a happy bunny. I hope they are proud of themselves whoever they are.
