Qormi started their quest to complete a clean sweep of honours as they have already been crowned league champions and have also won three junior competitions and the nine-a-side league.   

They opened the scoring in the 16th minute after White Hart gave the ball away in midfield and after a sharp counter attack Steve Tanti deflected the ball into the net. 

Qormi went further ahead in the 28th minute when a through pass into the D was flicked into the net by Keith Calleja.

In the second half flowed from end to end with the Qormi keeper, Ramon Chricop, effecting a good save in the 49th minute. 

It must be pointed out that his opposite number in the White Hart Goal, Robert Vassallo Gatt, also excelled between the posts.

In the 62nd minute White Hart were awarded a penalty.  A scoring opportunity which could have altered the outcome of the match, but Luke Borg Costanzi fluffed the chance, his weak shot hit straight at the goalkeeper.   At this point the game was done and dusted.
