out within and around Valletta.
Following the recent meeting held with all government stakeholders, it was agreed that that this year’s VGP event will be temporarily moved to another venue and shall return back to Valletta in 2012. At present discussions are being held with various authorities to establish an alternative circuit designed to suit the October 2011 VGP event.
Despite the postponement of this year’s Event to October 2011 and due to the arrival of some of our foreign VGP participants, the Valletta Grand Prix Foundation board, together with the VGP Technical Subcommittee, and in collaboration with the Old Motors Club, a short weekend programme between 20 and 22 May will take place instead.
This is the programme:
Friday 20 May
Day trip to Gozo
The VGPF and OMC will be organising a full day to Gozo for VGP participants and OMC members. This invitation is also open to all classic car enthusiasts not affiliated with either the VGPF or OMC.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a day touring the sister island of Gozo in classic cars. It also gives you the opportunity to socialise with fellow local and international passionate car enthusiasts.
