London Olympic organisers have announced the prices for the two million Paralympic Games tickets that will go on sale in September.

About half of the tickets will cost £10 or less, with most £50 or under. The top price is £500 for the opening ceremony, while some events will cost only £5 for children and seniors.

More than 1 million people have registered interest in buying tickets from 9 September until 30 September on the London 2012 website for the 12-day event.

The games mark the homecoming of the Paralympics, which began in England in 1948.
