Palermo boss Delio Rossi has not denied that he may be the new Sampdoria boss next season, even if the Genoa-based club has been relegated to the Serie B.

“I wouldn’t have a problem with Serie B. Could I move to Sampdoria even in Serie B? What Division a team plays in has never been a problem for me in my career.

“All that I am looking for is a good project, a place where I can develop my way of playing football.”

Rossi is expected to leave Palermo at the end of this term. He’s also been linked with Roma, Genoa and Atalanta.
