Vodafone yesterday joined numerous telecom companies around the world to acknowledge World Telecommunication and Information Society Day.

In order to involve customers in this celebration Vodafone have launched a retail-wide megaphone sale in which a choice of models from popular brands HTC, Nokia, Apple, BlackBerry, Samsung and Puma can be purchased at greatly discounted prices.

“We want to celebrate World Telecom Day, aimed to raise awareness on the possibilites that the use of internet and mobile phones can bring to societies and communities. Here in Malta we want to make telecommunication technology more available to all. This is the aim that is guiding us in providing customers the chance to pick up great bargains and big discounts on favourite makes and models,” said Alexandre Froment-Curtil, Head of Marketing at Vodafone Malta.

Vodafone’s megaphone sale will provide discounts ranging from €39 to €150. Discounted prices are also given on the latest range of smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S and the HTC Desire HD which boasts of a large touch screen and a great user experience. Moreover slashed prices are also provided on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.1 for those who would like to step into the world of Tablets.

The sale is valid until stocks for these phones last.
