The Malta Darts Association is entrusted to organise the 12th edition of the Mediterranean Cup. This is being held at the Topaz Hotel in Bugibba this week.

The opening ceremony was held yesterday where all the competing countries were presented.

Cyprus, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Turkey and Malta with two teams will start play today at 10am with the men’s and ladies’ team events. Tomorrow is reserved for the singles and doubles while on Saturday semi-finals for all events will be played in the morning while all finals are played in the afternoon starting at 1.30pm.

Malta will be competing with the following players: Malta Red – Chris Cohen, John Ciantar, Albert Scerri, Godfrey Abela, Joyce Fenech and Tessie Bilocca; Malta White – Joe Caruana, Gordon Stanmore, Carmelo Fenech, Vince Busuttil, Mandy Scerri and Dorianne Scicluna. The teams will be managed by Edward Bonnici and Tony Demanuele respectively.
