Team Malta at the Liechtenstein Games will consist of 61 athletes.
Revealing the names of the athletes, Mark Cutajar, Chef de Mission, said he had made it clear to all athletes that only those who obtained the required Minimum Qualifying Standards will go to the Games.
He also made it clear that there will be one on holiday. “After two hard years of work, I can say we have a team ready to representing Malta competitively. It will not be an easy task to win medals considering the ever improving standards and the inclusion of an enormous number of foreigners in the other squads. We are sure that those selected will represent the country honourably.
He thanked all the officials who had helped him during the past two years. “Without their support and help, all this would not have been achieved.
