Siggiewi Derby and A to Z Electronics Athleta will be meeting each other tomorrow in the final of the Bank of Valletta KO competition.

Siggiewi Derby and A to Z Electronics Athleta have met each other eight times during this season. Siggiewi won once in the league, and the first Final Game of the Louis Borg Cup. The second final ended equally but Siggiewi won the Cup.

Athleta won the Detur Shield. They also won two league matches and the Super Cup Final, their second honour for this year.

In the KO, Siggiewi had two appearances in the finals, in 1997 they lost against Luxol and in 2002 they lost again against Athleta. They still have to win this honour for the first time.

Athleta are the second team with the greatest number of victories in the KO.

They won seven times, and lost in Finals another eight times.

Their first success was in 1987, and then they won four consecutive times between 2001 and 2004, and are defending the honour they won last season.
