McDonald’s Malta organised the fourth edition of the Football Skill Test, an activity that targets all youngsters who are fond of the game of football.

The Infetti football ground in Birkirkara was packed with young football enthusiasts who performed various football skill tests to compete for the winning prize.

This event was organized as part of the ongoing commitment that McDonald’s has always shown towards sports and active lifestyle. McDonald’s Malta has always been involved in all levels of sport, from sponsoring the International Olympic Games and the World Cup to local community sports clubs, such as waterpolo, basketball and football.

The McDonald’s Football Skill Test event was launched with the intent to encouraging children to incorporate physical activity and sports within their everyday lives.

Participants were grouped according to their age group and category. The categories for females were open to U-11’s, U-12’s and U-13’s while the categories for males were open to U-9’s, U-10’s and U-11’s.

In order for all participants to be in a chance to win they took part in various skill tests that varied from basic dribbling and juggling skills to the more technical tests such as banana shots.

The winners were identified according to the points they gained within each test.

The event was coordinated in collaboration with Julie Busuttil, other ex-international players, national team players and various qualified Maltese coaches.
