On Saturday the game between the Chairman’s XI against the Captain’s team was postponed for the following week.
The colts game between Marsa and Krishna still took place in windy conditions. The Marsa teams batting came together and totalled their highest score so far in the series, the wind though did help with all the wides which were bowled, which cost the bowler three runs.
Andrea Caruana was the highest scorer with 23 runs, followed closely by Freddie May with 22 runs. Adam Caruana scored 17 runs, Aidan Bugeja 15, Oliver Robinson 14. Amy Caruana nine and Sarah Bulteel six.
For the Krishna team Adam Krishna , Zack Cauchi and Thomas Rusher were the pick of the bowlers.
The Krishna batting also managed their highest team total but only managed 79 runs. William Pettit was their highest scorer with 20 runs.
Zach Sofia scored 15, Zack Borg Ginger 14, Zack Cauchi 12, Jasmine Bulteel seven runs, Adam Krishna six runs and Thomas Rusher five runs.
For Marsa, Adam Caruana was the only wicket taker and was also involved in a run out. Aidan Bugeja and Amy Caruana both bowled well.
With this win the Marsa team take an unassailable lead of three-nil in the five game series.
