This week at The Malta Shooting Sport Federation ranges in Bidnija, a team of Welsh Trap shooters that include Scott Morgan, Davies Jonathon, Lyons Nick and Williams Alan were in Malta for a training camp and competed with local shooters in this weekend Trap selection shoot.

This was the fifth time that Welsh shooters had visited The Malta Shooting Sport Federation facilities. Jonathan Davies remarked that they were very satisfied with the organisation of their training camp. This would serve the Welsh shooters for their preparation of their National selection shoots.

They congratulated William Chetcuti for his Gold Medal in The ISSF World Cup Beijing 2011. They remarked that if we had more facilities, more shooters from all shooting disciplines will choose Malta for their training camps.

During the trophy presentation The MSSF President, Saviour Portelli thanked the Welsh shooters for choosing Malta for their training and presented them with a memento for this occasion.

The Malta –Wales Trap Selection shoot was organised on 125 clays, 75 clays on Saturday and 50 clays yesterday. The best six shooters qualified for a spectacular barrage final with flash targets where Scott Morgan won with a total of 132/150.
