Malta’s Alison Borg and Gertrude Zarb will be playing their final match in the tournament today as they challenge for the bronze medal against Luxembourg.

The latter lost to Cyprus in yesterday’s semifinal.

The Maltese girls played their hearts out once again yesterday against the home side and stunned them by winning the first set 21-18.

However, Liechtenstein came back strongly in the second game to win 21-13 and level it at one-all. In the final set it was Liechtenstein who prevailed to win 15-7 and book their place in the final.
