Football - Under 21: Malta Play goalless draw in Finland

In their first qualifying match of the 2013 UEFA European Championship, Malta’s under 21 side yesterday played a goalless draw against Finland at the Tehtaan Kentta in Valkeakoski.

This is Malta’s first point earned in this campaign in Group 2 and next Tuesday the Maltese will now face Lithuania in Siaulai.

Malta’s line-up yesterday was: Steve Sultana, Zach Muscat, Owen Bugeja, Yessous Camilleri, Matthew Gauci, Rowen Muscat, Clyde Borg, Triston Caruana (Bjorn Kristensen), Leighton Grech (Luca Martinelli), Miguel Ciantar (Steve Pisani), Terence Vella.

Group 3: Andorra-Montenegro 0-5

Group 5: Croatia-Georgia 0-1
