San Gwann Football Club has appointed Michael Molzahn as their Senior Team Coach for the coming season.

The Saints just missed promotion to the first Division this season, thanks to a spirited second round performance by their youngsters, and the club, renowned for their youth development programme which has seen a number of interesting youngsters now playing in the local Premier League wanted to build on this. The Club has been tracking the availability of Mr. Molzahn for some time as he fitted their bill thanks to his wide experience in working within youth development. In fact the German has a number of years under his belt as National Youth Coach in various sections within the MFA Technical Centre. He has also coached at Rabat, Marsa and Mosta.

Mr. Molzahn will be introduced and will have the opportunity to address the players and club members for the first time next Friday during the Clubs’ Annual General Meeting which will be held at their premises in Naxxar Road.
