The Bank of Valletta summer league gets under way today at the Tal-Qroqq Pool with the first Group A matches, to be followed tomorrow by two matches from Group B.

Easy matches seem to be on the card for the top guns, that is, Neptunes Emirates and Sliema McDonalds, both of whom are expected to be the major contestants for the title once again this year.

Today, Neptunes will be facing Ta’ Xbiex ASC in the opening match, while Sliema play against Marsascala meat.com.mt tomorrow in the final match on the programme.
