San Giljan registered their second win in their group when they easily defeated a rather resurgent Marsascala side who had their moments.

San Giljan are now equal on points with Sliema who have a better goal difference.

San Giljan almost made sure of victory in the first session where they built a four-goal lead.

The other sessions were rather balanced with Marsascala even winning the third session with the odd goal in five.

The Saints ran up a 5-1 lead in the first session with Sutic and Karl Galea regularly finding the net.

The second session was more of a balanced affair ending 4-4 with the Koralji duo making their mark for Marsascala.

The third session actually saw Marsascala prevail 3-2 as San Giljan appeared to wilt slightly. However the Saints regained their composure in the final session to win 4-2 and register a comfortable 15-10 victory.

Neptunes Emirates had no trouble disposing of a rather weak Sirens side who provided very little combat after their disappointing loss against Exiles.

The side from Balluta Bay dominated all sessions scoring at will with the Sirens side unable to hit back. Neptunes increased the tempo in the last two sessions for a handsome victory, the third from as many matches.

Neptunes were easily dominant in the first session racking up a 5-1 lead to impose their game early on.

The second session was a more balanced affair with Neptunes edging it 4-3.

The third session again went in Neptunes favour 5-1 with Camilleri and Molnar again in evidence.

The fourth session also saw Neptunes win by a large margin for a final score of 17-6 in their favour and a guaranteed berth at the top of Group B.
