Terence Vella is the first Maltese player to renew his contract with Birkirkara FC this summer, as the Under 21 international striker has signed a five year deal.
He had an acceptable first season with Birkirkara. In the 2010-11 season he made 21 appearances, out of which he started nine times while in the other 12 he was utilised as a substitute. The past season season he managed to score four goals.
This new five year deal should see Vella a player of the Stripes until the 2016-2017 season. This should definitely give the striker more experience while continuing to establish himself as one of the most promising strikers.
