Malta suffered five defeats at the European Division Two Championship in Belgium the past week.

After defeats against Greece, Spain and Austria, they lost to Sweden and hosts Belgium in their final two matches to finish bottom of Group B.

The following were the scores in each match:

Malta-Greece: Malta lost by 30 runs – Malta 68 for 9; Greece 98 for six.

Malta-Spain: Malta lost by 185 runs – Malta 30 all out; Spain 215 for 8.

Malta-Austria: Malta lost by 80 runs – Malta 91 for 8; Austria 171 for 7.

Malta-Sweden: Malta lost by 160 runs – Malta 48 all out; Sweden 160 for 5.

Malta-Belgium: Malta lost by 118 runs – Malta 76 for 4; Belgium 194 for 6.
