In line with its continued policy of promoting tennis for children, the VLTC is once again embarking on its annual Summer Coaching Clinics for children between five and 14 years.

The scope of the Summer Coaching Clinics is to give youngsters a way to relax in a safe and healthy environment after the strenuous schooling months and also to give them an opportunity to mix socially and make new friends.

The training course consists of ten sessions and will be held every Thursday evening between 6pm and 8pm starting on 14 July. Classes will be divided into three categories according to age group, from five to seven years, from eight to11 and 12-14. A free tee-shirt will be distributed to all participants during training.

Those interested to enrol are urged to register at the VLTC (Tel: 21696978) from Monday to Friday after 6pm and Sunday morning between 9am and noon.

Vacancies are limited and applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

Closing date for applications is Friday 1 July.
